威廉·格丹尼茲(Wilhelm Gdanietz,1893-1962)是德國擅長室內(nèi)和靜物題材的知名畫家,也是版畫家。他曾于1911年至1918年在杜塞爾多夫藝術(shù)學(xué)院學(xué)習(xí)繪畫,師從克勞斯·邁耶(Claus Meyer)、歷史畫家愛德華·馮·格布哈特(Karl-Franz-Eduard von Gebhardt)和威廉·斯帕茨(Willy Spatz)。之后還曾在Franz Kiederich的工作室學(xué)習(xí)。
格丹尼茲的作品以描繪荷蘭福倫丹的淳樸漁民為主要題材,作品Im Gelben Seidenkleid(黃色絲綢禮服)被記錄收藏于柏林國家美術(shù)館;另一幅作品Oude Volendammer met Fuik(老福倫丹人和漁柵)被福倫丹著名的Spaander藝術(shù)酒店永久收藏,并且這幅收藏被視為福倫丹藝術(shù)遺產(chǎn)的指南;作品Volendammer in Interieur 2010年由Enkhuizen Zuiderzee博物館收藏;多幅作品曾被倫敦和阿姆斯特丹佳士得拍賣。
Wilhelm Gdanietz (1893-1962)was a German painter of interiors and genre as well as a printmaker. He studied at the Art Academy of Düsseldorf with Claus Meyer, the history painter Karl-Franz-Eduard von Gebhardt and Willy Spatz from 1911 – 1918. He also apprenticed in the studio of Franz Kiederich.
Gerdanitz's works mainly focus on describing the simple fishermen in Volendam, the Netherlands. Gdanietz’s Im Gelben Seidenkleid (The Yellow Silk Gown) is recorded as in the National Gallery of Berlin. Another painting by the artist titled Oude Volendammer met Fuik (Old Volendammer with Fish-Trap) is in the permanent collection of the Hotel Spaander. Owing to the way it was formed the collection is regarded as a guideline to the artistic heritage of Volendam. Gdanietz’s Volendammer in Interieur was just purchased by the Zuiderzeemuseum, Enkhuizen in 2010.
